Kimberly P. Code, Ph.D. is currently an assistant professor in the College of Education at Northern Kentucky University where she teaches gifted education, social studies, and diversity courses.

Dr. Code has a long-standing interest in gifted education. Prior to teaching at Northern Kentucky University, she taught gifted and talented students in Campbell County, Kentucky where she received the Superintendent’s School Bell Award for Excellence in Teaching. In 2000, she was the recipient of the Leavey Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise Education from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.

Kimberly received her doctoral degree from the University of Louisville, a Master’s Degree with a concentration in gifted and talented education from Northern Kentucky University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education from Purdue University.
